A Gold Hill resident for fifteen years and President of the Gold Hill Club, John Sand relates his experiences in the the Gold Hill community as well as discussing the history of Gold Hill. He focuses on what makes Gold Hill unique and how its residents communicated Gold Hill history through their sesquicentennial celebration in 2009. He also relates the history of the Bluebirds (or the Holiday House Association) and explains the ongoing attempts to preserve the historical character of Gold Hill.

Professor Boggess' speech accepting the portrait of Jean Sherwood that was unveiled in the art gallery of the University of Colorado, Boulder in at 264-1-10.
